]]> MACS is happy to announce a new peer network focusing on LTSS. This peer network will be different from our current peer networks in a few ways. Recognizing the need for information as soon as possible, the LTSS Peer Network will meet monthly. While we want to open registration broadly, we also want to avoid an unproductive meeting of several hundred people therefore participation will be limited to three staff per provider. The meeting topics will be shared in advance so you can determine the best staff to attend each meeting. Unlike our other peer network meetings, LTSS Peer Network meetings will be recorded. Please feel free to share the recording with all interested staff. Lastly, consistent with all MACS peer networks there will be a listserv open to any MACS member interested in participating. 

The Next LTSS Peer Network Meeting will be on October 21, 2022 at 10:00 AM via Zoom.

While we will be developing the meeting topics moving forward, preliminarily we will be looking at including in-depth discussions of:

  • LTSS Configuration 
  • LTSS Processes
  • LTSS Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery Design
  • PCP process
  • Billing and Reconciliation Processes
  • Supporting staff with new roles and responsibilities
  • Data oversight and continuous improvement mechanisms

Co-chairing the LTSS Peer Network are Jennifer Mettrick from Penn-Mar Human Services and Allan Sheahen from Abilities Network. As early adopters, Jennifer and Allan are well positioned to lead this network by sharing their experience and insight. They are a wealth of knowledge and we so appreciate their willingness to lead us through this tremendous system change.
